  no wonder obama won hands down, in an armchair, after voters saw this picture and made the comparison with the price of sarah palin's wardrobe.

  imo, though, he is smart enough for having directed this mediatic coup.

  and who could possibly believe that michelle, who most likely supervised his campain, or the girls, didn't notice what the condition of these soles was ?

  That's really nice. He could have made it a bit less prophetic, though. I think that he should have wondered, upon writing every single sentence, whether it is really directed to little 7 old Sasha, for her practical present use. Still quite enlightened by confidence in humankind, I wish it were not too optimistic. I like this chap, and Michelle too, wish them the very best.

  WT on "Help those who stray from the flock"? - friends sent us an email

  today was the first of the two parter series on browbeating the inactive to get back to the meetings.. my other half who has been inactive for a short while received an email from a "friend" who's still in, acknowledging it's been a while since they last made contact and could they stop by to see how we're doing?.

  the moment of truth - friends who ignore you and make no effort to contact you when you leave suddenly get a guilt trip over an article in the watchtower.. anyone else here had their door bell rung, received a phone call or email from a "concerned" friend due to this study article, or is it still early days?.

  Anyone else here had their door bell rung,

  Saturday morning I was quite surprised to see an elder and a pioneer sister at my door. It was feezing cold, I let them in, offered them coffee, croissants, and a nice prune liquor which warmed their hearts. I wonder whether it was a sheperding call in connection with the WT article of the WE or just because of the cold. He engaged the conversation with JWs' responsability to deliver a warning message, I told him that Jehovah's patience makes no sense when applied to the world population since for every new JW baptized there are 1000 newborn humans who will be destroyed according to WT theology. Told him about the probability for a person in Bengla-Desh to hear-and grasp- the message. As if he suspected where I was trying to lead him, he was reluctant on agreeing with the fact that we must sift all sorts of teachings through the filter of critique and common sense. He mentioned FDS leading us on the way of the truth, etc, etc, I added that authority as an agument must not exist, he ended up saying that reflecting on one's faith is a good thing but a JW should be careful not to stumble "weak" ones. Typical elder discourse. As they left, the sister assured me that she would look after my cat when we are away on winter holiday. We departed on friendly terms, he had done his job and they had spent an hour, nice and warm.

  why certain/many, guys, goes silent on you when it feels good (and after being intimate) and leave us women feel abandoned, like a question mark, like a fool and desperate when trying to get hold of you and ask why?.

  i mean it's fine if you need time etc but pls then just let us know when we'll hear back from you.

  waiting is horrible.. i hate to be in this situation again.

  Well, the misunderstanding might come from the fact that men see first sexual encounter with a woman as a goal, sort of thing to achieve, whereas women see it as a beginning (all exceptions are accepted).
